I enjoy this author the story is lighthearted read, a good beach book. I would recommend this author I have read most of her books.
I've read this book twice. I find it a pleasant diversion. Reading just to relax.
I usually love Katie Fforde books, but this is a big disappointment. Not the least bit believable. Big waste of time and money.

Katie Fforde draws delightful characters but it is the settings for her novels that truly enchant. The reader comes away with new knowledge of fascinating places--long boats, auction houses, rehabbed houses. The plots are good and the girl always somehow gets the right guy.
