Having published a booklet of Haiku some years back when I had the pleasure of publishing a community newspaper, I came upon this newly published work when talking to a friend about different forms of poetry. She mentioned "Haiku" and it rang a bell, launching into the publishing recollection. She urged me to look into "Gordito Haiku," and I must admit, I was pleased with the results of that suggestion. "Life on earth is short ---be nice to all friends and pets -- you may meet again," one of the clearest of Gordon Anderson's many, many Haiku.164 pages of them in his first effort, hopefully there will be more.'li

With his first publication 'Gordito Haiku', Gordon Anderson has used the stylish Haiku poetry with which to share with others his life experiences and thoughts. Nicely done. It's an enjoyable and relaxing read.
An interesting use of haiku form. Having had the pleasure of listening to the author read his work - what a gifted voice.
