So I have a few other "Mammoth" books, and they're quite extensive. This one is a standard anthology, if a bit lacking in number of stories.
The short stories contained are fine, but I really didn't love the book overall.

Top notch selection of vampire stories from the classic to those with a great twist..
The forward by Ingrid Pitt alone is worth the price of the book!
I love to read. I loved this book because each story was different and interesting. I think that there was only one story that I really didn't like in the whole book.
A couple of weak stories but the rest are solid and there are several gems. Well worth reading. I will look for some of the authors.
All the different types of stories with a common theme. Some were very original and complex. A few were confusing.
The collection was full of women authors past and present, who knew what to do with the vampire folklore. There were stories I had read and a lot I had not. I thoroughly enjoyed it
A lot of somewhat obscure “vampirish” short stories. The prologues about the individual authors was decent and a better read.
